Chart notes
WHERE'S THE LOOT settled off early pace, made steady progress four then three wide around the turn, reeled in leader in upper stretch, gained lead passing eighth marker and kicked clear. TROTSKY bobbled a bit, lagged back from the inside, angled out some on the turn, came three wide into the stretch, moved out further in upper stretch, then closed strongly and rolled past tiring foes to be along late for second. LAST CALL PAUL chased on two path early, shifted out three wide on the turn, moved out further entering the stretch and rallied to get up in final strides for third. DANCE MAN showed good early foot, controlled early pace then edged away on the turn, was reeled in nearing eighth marker, continued bit off the rail, weakened and lost second then third in final yards. R AWESOME KID stalked from the inside. saved ground into the stretch then continued just off the rail and weakened. SPOT D' ORO was off alertly then taken off the leaders, tracked three wide, came two wide into the lane and weakened. SUMMER CHIEF forced the early issue while outside pacesetter, dropped back when put in tight at the five-sixteenths pole and faded. WAR ON THE WEST chased from off the rail, went five wide into the turn, moved into the four path, drifted out five wide into the stretch and also weakened.
