Chart notes
PACO THE TACO MAN relaxed outside a rival while in range, commenced a run leaving the three eighths, circled four wide into the stretch, closed in under a drive and wrested command from IRISH BANDIT in mid stretch, edged away inside the sixteenth pole and held firm while kept alert. ONE WAY FARRIOR , urged along off the pace, edged up behind foes mid turn, angled five wide for the drive, straightened away and closed steadily. IRISH BANDIT vied outside a rival before clearing into the turn, set the pace under some asking, came two wide for the drive, dug in when collared past the three sixteenths, stayed willingly past the sixteenth marker then weakened late. LITTLE LANCE eased back off the leaders in the opening furlong, moved up between runners into the turn, chased between rivals mid turn, angled in leaving mid stretch but came up empty. THE ICE MAN CARLOS broke outward, corrected and disputed the early pace to the inside of IRISH BANDIT, couldn't quite keep pace with that one into the turn, stayed on with pursuit to about mid stretch then weakened. CHICA CHUCK , in a bit tight at the break, was outrun.
