Chart notes
CLASSY SHIPMAN was sent to a clear early lead, raced well clear into the upper stretch and held safe under a confident hand ride. PAINTED SUNDAY was bumped soundly at the start, moved up along the inside around the far turn, eased out four wide through the stretch run and finished gamely to the wire. SOCIAL APPEAL dropped to the back of the pack early, swung wide into the upper stretch and moved up to improve position. MO HAWK MAN was bumped soundly at the break, chased the pace from the inside, checked near the three eighths pole and weakened through the drive. TAKE POINT chased the pace racing between rivals early and faded. CHIEF HARLAN dropped back early, raced five deep around the far turn and lacked a bid. SIMPLICATED chased the pace from the outside, raced four wide around the far turn and faded.
