ALTERANA chased the pace from the outside, raced four wide around the far turn and drew off to be well clear under a strong hand ride. TRIPPER JOHN vied two deep from the outside of rival, kept on but was no match for the winner. HOLY BAYOU was squeezed back at the break, moved up four wide through the far turn, raced six deep in the stretch and finished willingly to the wire. SPARKIN vied for the early lead near the rail and gave way. DONNA'S COURT was bumped soundly at the start, lag early on, checked, altered out around Rap Artist near the five sixteenths pole and never threatened. RAP ARTIST chased the early pace, was injured near thein the quarter pole and had to be vanned off. PRAY IDE SING raced four wide around the far turn, pulled up stretch and walked off under her own power.
