Chart notes
HARD CANDY was never far back, bid inside leaving the turn, assumed command inside the eighth pole and held under pressure. GOLDEN REBAL got away well, led early, raced in close, bumped at the top of the stretch, assumed command, led briefly and was outclosed in a good effort. PEPPERMINT CANDY was never far back, went widest in the drive and lacked the needed late response. STORM CATCHER vied inside to mid stretch, gave way and dropped back. SLICK COUNTRY BOY vied between horses, came out, bumped and was checked at the top of the stretch and dropped back.
