Chart notes
JONNY QUIST set the pace on the inside racing with a clear lead, widened the margin on the far turn, responded when roused turning for home and was kept to the task in the final furlong. WIZARD SERRAT stalked three wide, chased three wide on the far turn and rallied for second. LOOK OUT LAMBO tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and raced evenly inside in the lane. COLONEL JUAN stalked between rivals in the early stages, then saved ground, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. LONG GRAY LINE was outrun. CREATE AGAIN stalked two wide, chased two wide on the far turn and gave way.
