Chart notes
VIROLOGIST stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid off the turn and drew out in the final furlong to prove much the best under mild urging. WARRIOR ON THE RUN stalked the pace two wide and then proved to be no match for the winner while keeping on to be clearly second best. WARRIORS JEWEL was settled early, three wide on the turn and then had a mild late rally to gain the show award. UPTOWN CHARLY GIRL was allowed to settle early, saved ground on the turn but had no rally. PRINCESS WIGGY showed good early speed to set the pace on the inside but faltered in the final furlong. SHORT SHIP chased the pace four wide and weakened. TRACE MARTINIS was off a step slow, raced two wide on the turn and never factored.
