ROCKCLIFFE settled off the dueling leaders while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, rallied smartly from along the rail entering the final turn, and closed steadily from along the rail in the drive to get up in time. WISELY PLAYED settled off the contested early pace while racing out from the rail in the run down the backside, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, tipped five wide leaving the turn, and closed with a rush to just miss. BAKKEN OVERDRIVE away well and pressed the pace three wide in the run down the backside, continued three wide while forcing the issue entering the final turn, and finished determinedly four wide in the drive in a solid effort. COUNTERACT broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backside and through the final turn, drifted off the rail entering the lane while bumping with NEIGHBOR, and was outfinished late. NEIGHBOR away alertly and dueled for the lead two wide from between rivals in the run down the backstretch, continued to battle from between rivals through the final turn, was bumped soon after straightening for home, and faded in the drive.
