Chart notes
AKITO rated a slim early lead, came under pressure toward the quarter pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn, was met at even terms leaving the turn but dug in determinedly to eke out the advantage over LANDON JACK through the lane. The latter gave chase then challenged approaching the quarter pole, drew to even terms nearing the head of the lane but was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. MON GATEAU came away a bit awkwardly then gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and dueled through the stretch for third. THANK YA PETE chased inside, rounded the turn near the rail and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. SMOKIN SMITTY gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the stretch. IT'S MY RAINBOW chased, rounded the turn about the four path then flattened. MONEY MAC raced wide early then saved ground on the turn.
