Chart notes
GO THE DISTANCE quickly cleared the lead out of the gate, raced on top under pressure around the turn, took a length lead in upper stretch, fought on under firm handling and kept clear. OKIE CLIPPER raced up close in opening stages, vied for the lead around the turn, could not match strides with eventual winner at the head of the lane but fought on stubbornly. WAR RASCAL tracked the early pace, saved ground around the turn, hustled along the rail down the lane and sustained bid for a share. MUSEUM QUALITY raced in range, came under a ride three wide around the turn, failed to respond under urging and made no impact. CODE ONE raced in the back, swung four wide into upper stretch and never moved into close contention. MACHO STRIKER briefly moved up into strong contention mid-way around the turn then steadily faded.
