Chart notes
EL BROMISTA was reserved early, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole, took the lead leaving the eighth pole and then was all out to prevail narrowly. ELDER MACK saved ground while being allowed to settle, slipped through entering the stretch and closed strongly to just miss. SIR ARGENTO was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch and rallied late. K R RULES was allowed to settle, moved up five-wide nearing the quarter pole to offer a bid but lacked the needed late response. ATTA BOY LLOYD prompted GUNNIN FOR GOLD while racing two-wide and weakened late. KNIGHTLINE showed brier early speed and gave way. GUNNIN FOR GOLD saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and tired late.
