Chart notes
MOTIVO was hard held early, tracked the pace three wide, took the lead nearing the five-sixteenths pole, lugged in nearing the eighth pole, causing HARI to check off heels and held clear from there. HARI set the pace along the rail, was headed by MOTIVO nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied inside of that foe to upper stretch, checked nearing the eighth pole, angled out not long after and kept on. LAS OLAS saved ground in range, tipped out in upper stretch and ran on for the show. BATTLE OF DOVER prompted the pace two wide and lacked the needed rally. AWESOME FOR SURE played no factor while racing two wide. FAST CHAD failed to menace while racing two and three wide. SUMMER STORM STRIC had his head turned at the start, raced off the pace three wide, advanced four wide around the far turn but came up empty in the lane. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF HARI, MOTIVO WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE EIGHTH POLE.
