Chart notes
HIGH TONE broke a step slow, raced off the pace inside, moved up on the turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, moved up to challenged UNDER THE GUN past the furlong marker, dug in to gain command and edged away late. UNDER THE GUN dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, shook free at the top of the lane, then dug in gamely outside of the winner and yielded grudgingly. NOTION TO TAPIT raced off the pace, moved up three wide on the turn and rallied mildly outside. MOCEPHUS chased the dueling leaders, chased on the turn, lacked a bid and weakened. SAPONARA dueled outside for the lead, dueled on the turn and tired. CRAFTY DON raced off the rail, off the pace and did not factor. EQUALJUSTICEFORALL was outrun.
