Chart notes
I'M ON FIRE was bumped after the start, raced off the pace inside, advanced inside on the turn, made a strong rail bid at the quarter pole, took over at the top of the stretch, drew clear under urging and was in hand the final yards. CASSATION raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn, rallied on the rail and was along for the place spot. SHIP TO SHORE showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled between rivals at the quarter pole, dug in through the lane and held for third. HELLO POP was bumped after the start, chased inside, then between rivals on the turn, came four wide into the lane and gained mildly outside. ALPHA COMPANY raced off the rail, off the pace and closed belatedly inside. JUST COMPLY was fractious in the gate just prior to the start, then off slowly, raced off the pace, came wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. SUNSHINE CHARLIE chased outside, bid three wide at the quarter pole and tired. CASH KID was outrun early and did not factor. JOEBOY'S JEDI was bumped after the start and outrun.
