Chart notes
KID SHELLEEN prompt the early leader two deep from the outside, raced well clear near the eighth pole and prevailed late under strong handling. STIFF DRINK stalked the pace near the inside, angled out three deep and finished gamely to the wire. DUDE DROP KID stalked the pace from the outside of foes, took aim four deep between near the three sixteenths pole and finished willingly to the wire. JULIA'S WARRIOR settled off the early pace to race in hand, made a four wide bid near the quarter pole and flattened out. PREFERITO DA BARBI was sent along from the outside, cleared and crossed over into the first turn, challenged into the far turn and gave way.
