Chart notes
EURA NORTHERN SKY forced the pace from outside, was mostly three wide through the turn with the lead, met challengers from outside nearing the sixteenth pole, dug in and held from that pair to prevail. SODDY DAISY settled off the pace, went four wide on the turn, bid between foes near the sixteenth pole, missed. KIMBELL'S STRATEGY got away slowly, lacked early speed, advanced five wide late on the turn, bid nearing the sixteenth pole drawing just about even but appeared to hang in the closing stages. HEY ROXY contended through the opening three-sixteenths, continued to chase from inside through the turn regaining closeness to the leader and eventual winner but evened out and faded late. EXCETERA broke just a step slowly, failed to threaten racing off the inside of the track. COZZOLANI chased from inside early, dropped back, swung out past the quarter, failed to rally.
