Chart notes
RIGHT TRAPPE pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, made the lead, shook clear in upper stretch and won under strong handling. VILLAGE QUEEN stalked the pace three wide, dug in determinedly through deep stretch in the five path and gained second. ALSANAH track the leader from the inside into the stretch, shifted out to the four path at the top of the lane and finished determinedly. DUNVEGAN DOLL never far back, had a mild rally late four wide. BANK BUSTER away alertly, set the pace along the inside into the far turn, kept on into the stretch, shifted out to the four path nearing the furlong marker then weakened. SUZY Q THE QUEEN threw her head as the gate opened, did not appear to be immediately released by the assistant starter and was declared a non starter. RIPLEY EFFECT was through early. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW FOUND THAT SUZY Q THE QUEEN DID NOT RECEIVE A FAIR START AND WAS DECLARED A NON STARTER.
