Chart notes

ABBY'S SPIRIT was rated along on the outside, then made a wide move on the turn, had to stay farther out to keep clear of the loose horse, then closed well to get up late to prove best, driving. SKYHOOK vied for the lead three wide and made a three wide bid on the turn to draw clear, then fought on to the wire but was caught. COWBOY JIM vied for the early lead on the inside, then chased the pace two wide on the turn, then ran on but needed more. NECCO chased the early pace, then was on the inside and in tight a bit nearing the quarter pole, then had a belated rally on the inside to just miss the show award. CHASIN' WHISKEY was allowed to settle early, came three wide into the lane but had no serious rally. NOTORIOUS REY vied for the early lead in between rivals, then fell back entering the turn and took a bad step and stumbled by the three eighths marker and lost the jockey. STEWARDS INQUIRY into the running around the three eighths marker, after reviewing the replays the race was left as is.
