Chart notes
FINGER ROLL stalked HONOR THE CROSS while racing in hand, seized command from that one nearing the quarter pole and gradually drew clear. HONOR THE CROSS saved ground setting the pace, responded when headed but was no match for the winner while clearly second best. HALF A LEAGUE was reserved off the early pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. LORD IT'S CHILLY was unhurried early, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole but failed to seriously threaten. FINAL OPPORTUNITY settled in the middle of the field, was two-wide nearing the quarter pole and failed to menace. TAJI MIKE saved ground while being allowed to settle but lacked a rally when called upon.
