Chart notes
GOTTATAKEHIMTO slow early to trail into the first turn, gained position up the fence down the backside, waited patiently on the final bend while saving ground, tipped out two wide splitting rivals turning for home and closed best of all in a blanket finish. IT'S A BIRD unhurried for the first half mile to trail the field, closed ground on the turn rallying five wide and was gaining through the lane to come up just short in a good effort. QUARTER RAT prompted the pace the entire trip, made a three wide bid turn for home and was outfinished in the final strides. PAYOFF CYCLE set the pace under mild pressure to the quarter pole, responded for the drive and weakened late in the lane. INSPECTOR ED well placed tracking the pace from three wide to the head of the lane and gave way down the stretch. CAJUN CONNECTION was eased at the quarter pole and vanned off.
