Chart notes
KATE'S CUBAN KISS vied two wide for the early lead, took over soon after, dueled inside on the turn, responded when roused entering the stretch, edged away and held well late under urging. VIVID ARTISTE stalked three wide early, bid three wide on the turn, dueled, was outkicked by the winner in upper stretch, then dug in gamely in the final furlong and slowly closed the gap. LILY THE KID raced off the pace, chased on the turn, rallied mildly outside in the stretch and got up for third. J WILLARD vied inside for the early lead, then tracked the pace, chased on the turn and gained mildly on the rail in the lane. EMILY REWARD was bumped and steadied after the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, came four wide into the lane and lacked a rally. EATONTOWN GIRL was bumped at the start, stalked two wide, dueled between rivals on the turn and faded. SUMMER FLOWER raced off the pace inside and did not factor. GYPSY STYLE was outrun.
