Chart notes
SILENT RESERVE moved clear setting the pace and shifting in, had a measured lead through the turn racing just off the rail, held late while being kept to the task. CAPTURE THE LION settled mid-pack, swung four to five wide turning into upper stretch and encouraged along, was guided out a further path nearing mid-stretch, gained too late but was second best. NIAGARA SKYLINE was forwardly-positioned, tracked the eventual winner in behind saving ground through the turn, kept on evenly in the stretch. LIGHT THE LAMP stalked from outside a rival through the turn, moved out three to four deep for the drive, kept on evenly. SHEKKY SHEBAZ settled well back between foes at times racing two to three wide, began to advance while shifting out turning for home, was five wide at the top of the stretch, wider still in mid-stretch, ran on. WARP RIDE broke just a half-step slowly, lacked early speed bringing up the rear, raced inside through the turn, was never a threat. FORESTER'S FORTUNE broke a step slowly, raced outside rivals at the back, fanned seven deep, failed to menace.
