Chart notes
CALI CRUISER was righted at the start, stalked the pace down the backstretch, advanced steadily three wide through the turn to make the lead before the three sixteenths pole and drew clear under energetic handling. NO PAY NO HAY had good position along the inside, rallied into the stretch two wide and finished second best. SPARKLY chased the pace two then three wide and finished with good courage. LA VILLAGE LUMIERE failed to menace. GRAY ENOUGH bumped at the start and was outrun. SHARP AZ CAN BE bumped at the start, sprinted clear before a quarter, set the pace for a little over a half mile then was used up.
