Chart notes
TIME TO CHOOSE rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn well off the rail, drifted wider and was met toward the head of the lane, but dug in determinedly to take the nod. CALLISTO'S BRIGADE stalked off the rail, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and closed to even terms while being carried out approaching the head of the lane, dug in gamely leaving the turn but missed the nod under the wire. SUGAR LIPS saved ground on the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and came along for third in an even finish. STRIVE FOR STRIDE raced in the five path the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn about the five path, left the turn widest and ran evenly in the lane. THUNDERHOUSE rated close inside, gave chase past the half mile pole, remained a factor at the rail on the far turn but weakened inside the eighth pole. CURB THAT TIGER settled off the rail the opening turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. ASTRAYAL rounded the first turn in the four path then saved ground on the far turn.
