Chart notes
SOONTOBEKING bobbled at the start then bumped with a foe, was urged along while dropping off the pace, moved out leaving the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, pursued the leading duo under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, gained to make a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole and got up under a hand-ride late to prevail. CLASSIC TIME broke awkwardly then came in and bumped with an opponent, showed early speed while hustled, disputed the pace, vied inside of a foe under urging while along the rail on the turn, fought on well in the stretch, led into the final sixteenth but was denied while clear for the place. HONORARY AMERICAN (IRE) broke in at the start, disputed the pace on the backstretch, vied in the two path while outside of a foe on the turn, battled under a drive while on ever terms for the advantage into the final furlong, dropped back into the final sixteenth and tired but was clear for the show. MISTER MONOCLONAL broke awkwardly and was very slow into stride, spotted the front several lengths, was urged along at the rear, saved ground for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, came four wide into the stretch and finished with late interest. TAPWRITS TEMPER broke in and bumped with a foe, checked in tight between horses early and dropped back, was urged near the rear, went around the turn in the four path, came five wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. DANCING BEAR broke out and bumped with a foe, showed early speed, dropped back leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and retreated.
