Chart notes
LOST IN NEWYORK prompted the early pace and made a four wide bid on the turn to vie for command by the quarter pole, then gained a short advantage by the furlong marker and kicked clear and then maintained a safe margin late to prove best. YES IT'S ROO was settled back early, fou r wide on the turn and came wide into the lane and closed the gap fast late. GAGETOWN was off slowly, made a three to four wide move on the turn but flattened out. BRIT'S CANDYMAN dueled for the lead on the inside but in the two path, then weakened in the final furlong. KHAKI JACK was rated early, then was ridden along two to three wide on the turn but flattened out. MR PHIL dueled for the lead three wide, then was in between rivals on the turn and weakened. CAPT. CANDY chased the pace on the inside and weakened.
