Chart notes
BY ITS ABSENCE vied for the early lead near the rail, was headed nearing the eighth pole, came on again in determined run to prove best under strong handling. CROWNEDCOUNTCRISTO pressed the early pace while racing between rivals, led inside the eighth pole and was outkicked in a game effort. JOVA dropped back early, raced near the inside at the quarter pole, angled out through the upper lane to race from the far outside and moved up to improve position. MOUNT TRAVERS raced two deep around the far turn, eased out to race off the inside in the stretch run and was even with no closing run. FLY FLY AWAY prompt the early pace setters three deep from the outside and faded in the drive. KENTUCKY COOL lost ground to race far back and trailed.
