JOHANNES tracked in the two path around the first turn, traveled in mid-pack outside a rival up the backstretch, drew closer two then three wide on the far turn, took over in upper stretch and maintained a short lead over FUNTASTIC AGAIN to the wire. FUNTASTIC AGAIN set the pace two wide into the turn then moved over to the rail around the bend, ceded command to GOLIAD early on the backstretch, challenged from outside approaching the quarter pole, took over leaving the far turn, was overtaken by JOHANNES in upper stretch, fought back gamely from inside and stayed on to the wire. DU JOUR raced near the back on the inside then a bit off the rail into the backstretch, traveled two wide then moved into the three path on the far turn before angling seven wide into the lane, bumped with inner rival at the top of the stretch and finished well to gain the show honors. THERE GOES HARVARD reserved and taken to the two path, made progress two then three wide on the far turn, chased four wide in upper stretch and kept on for a minor award. IRIDEO (ARG) settled outside a rival, continued two wide on the second bend, steered six wide into the stretch, bumped with DU JOUR in upper stretch and got edged for a minor award. EASTER (FR) broke out, trailed on the inside around the clubhouse turn, coaxed along up the backstretch, swung out into the lane and produced a mild rally down the lane. WAR AT SEA unhurried in the early going on the inside, found traffic at the quarter pole, angled out into the lane, got put in tight between rivals shortly after and could not rally. AIR FORCE RED settled in mid-pack along the rail, came three wide into the stretch and flattened out. DOMINICAN PIONEER coaxed from the gate, pulled between rivals then bumped outer rival and steadied entering the first turn, chased three wide into the second bend, came five wide into the stretch and weakened. CONCLUDE forwardly placed inside pair of rivals into the clubhouse turn, stalked out of range up the backstretch, drew closer along the rail on the far turn, entered the lane two wide and faded. GOLIAD broke out, up close early outside a pair of rivals and took a bump from inside entering the first turn, went up to take control into the backstretch, cleared inner rival past the five-eighths pole, showed the way to the far turn, challenged from outside with a quarter mile remaining, lost command into the lane and folded.
