Chart notes
CLASS PHOTO set the pace on the inside, shook clear down the backstretch, turned back a bid into the stretch, shook clear, then lasted under steady pressure. MONEY IN MOTION allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted in slightly, then angled out, closed fast and missed. ALEMAN stalked the pace on the outside, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid outside of that one into the lane, then flattened and held the show. EGON well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and evened the final furlong. E MINOR well placed and between, held position on the two path through the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and weakened the final furlong. CATATUMBO ran evenly. SAKETUMI lunged at the start, rushed up to track the pace, steadied in anticipation, then faded. VAN mid pack, moved up four wide through the second turn, then had no stretch rally. DR. HYDE steadied on heels through the first turn, came widest into the stretch and could not gain.
