Chart notes
HITSVILLE vied for the lead four wide down the backstretch, began to close on the turn, was carried out to the middle of the racetrack by the leader in upper stretch, dug in under left handed urging and was along in time. TOYI close up along the inside, shifted outside entering the stretch, rallied widest and finished second best. LUCKY NINETEEN veered out at the start, set the pace until deep stretch, drifted out to the middle of the racetrack under right handed urging and was outfinished. ARMOR PIERCING pressed the pace along the inside into the turn, checked midway on the turn and lost momentum. THE RED MAN passed tiring rivals. MAJESTIC FLAG vied for the lead three wide through the turn then faltered.
