Chart notes
D J'S FIRST STEP away alertly, set all the pace, shook clear on the turn and maintained his advantage under strong handling. ROLL ON MAX chased the winner two wide then along the inside and finished clear for second. MOBIL MISSION close up along the inside, altered course to the five path entering the stretch and finished evenly. BUMPKIN drifted in bumping BUMPKIN leaving the chute, was a sharp threat three then two wide into the stretch then weakened. AFTER SUNRISE was bumped leaving the chute and had brief speed. EL CHAPIADOR was outrun. BUCKEYE MIKE drifted out at the start and was no factor.
