Chart notes
SEATTLE PRINCE exchanged contact with Tup's To Take then pressured the pace inside, took the lead at the rail approaching the quarter pole, was kept sharp through the upper stretch then allowed to relax the final sixteenth. MEGS GOLDEN BOY set a pressured pace three wide, angled in a path at the five sixteenths pole, was met toward the quarter pole and dug in from there to hold second. BIG JOE B ran loose in the post parade then broke a step slow and moved to the outside to give chase, rounded the turn about the five path, drifted wider leaving the turn then dueled through later yards for third. TUP'S TO TAKE exchanged contact with Seattle Prince leaving the gate then engaged in close chase through the backstretch, checked from between horses at the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn at the rail and weakened in the lane. A FAIR NOTION pressured the pace and raced close in the three path on the turn, but weakened inside the eighth pole. You Bin Unbridled ran loose in the post parade and was a late scratch.
