Chart notes
NO ANGEL stalked the pace through the turn rallied three then two wide under right handed urging to make the lead near the furlong marker and edged clear under confident handling. FAT DADDY pressed the pace two wide into the turn, made the lead near the quarter pole, set the pace until mid stretch then couldn't handle the winner. MONTAUK COVE set a pressured pace along the inside to the quarter pole then weakened. VENETIAN DREAM trailed. STATESBORO appeared to be hung up in the gate as the doors opened, threw his head striking his jockey's face, bucked in the stall unseating his rider and was declared a non starter. BOURBON WISDOM was restrained when the gate opened unseating his rider and was also declared a non starter. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW DECLARED STATESBORO AND BOURBON WISDOM NON-STARTERS.
