Chart notes
LAURI'S WISH broke well, allowed the leader to go early, pressed that one into the turn, dueled into the lane, kicked steadily clear while being kept to pressure. DRILLING REPORT forwardly placed while out in the strip,moved a bit closer three wide late in the turn, finished well enough to take over the second spot the final furlong, no match for the winner. GRUNT broke back, behind the first fight, between horses into the stretch, up for the show. LIFE IS A BANQUET moved up out of the chute to contest the pace along the inside, continued to show the way into and through much of the turn, began to falter with a furlong remaining after being headed by the winner . FRENCH COMPOSER broke back, moved out while still back, advanced into contention four wide by late in the turn then failed to sustain that advance into the lane while losing some ground to the top two. THIS RACE HAD A TIMING DISCREPANCY OR MALFUNCTION AND WAS RE-TIMED USING VIDEO TECHNOLOGY TO ARRIVE AT THE MOST ACCURATE TIME.
