Chart notes
TROPHY ROOM vied for the early lead in between rivals on the first turn, then relented and moved out to stalk OILER three wide by the five eighths marker, made a three wide bid on the far turn to gain a short lead, then was confronted by MARCUS JUNIOR and he dug in gamely to hold that rival off to prove best in a gutsy score. MARCUS JUNIUS was rated along early, made a four wide bid on the far turn to loom boldly off the turn, then went on even terms with the winner by the furlong marker and had a long drive but missed. OROCOVIX was allowed to settle early towards the inside, made a four wide bid nearing the quarter pole but had no late kick while needing more late, clearly bested the rest. UNXPECTED TIGER was dwelt at the start and far back early, four to five wide on the far turn and had no late rally. FOWL NATION vied for the early lead on the inside, then relented and moved out to stalked the pace two wide, then tired in the lane. OILER vied for the early lead on the outside on the first turn, then went on to set the pace and drop to the inside and gave way on the far turn. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the start, after reviewing the replays the STEWARDS deemed number two UNEXPECTED TIGER did have a fair start and was deemed a non starter.
