Chart notes
PAPA'S GOLDEN BOY dueled with PRISONER for the lead from along the outside, opened a clear lead nearing the quarter pole and maintained a safe advantage. PRISONER dueled for the lead from along the inside, dropped back nearing the quarter pole then angled out for the drive and was coming on again late in a game effort. TAX CODE saved ground stalking the pace, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch, drifted out slight and finished in a mild rally. SLEW'S TIZ WHIZ was four-wide on the turn while being allowed to settle, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and gained his best stride too late. COASTAL KID was unhurried early, came two-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. GOLDEN ALE was forwardly placed early while three-wide and weakened. MOR TEQUILA saved ground while being reserved off the early pace and failed to menace.
