Chart notes
PROPRIETARY TRADE sprinted clear in the early stages to set the pace, showed the way into the stretch, responded when roused, dug in gamely inside when challenged by JOHN JAY at the furlong marker and determinedly prevailed in the final sixteenth. CHARLIE FIVE O raced off the pace inside, advanced two wide on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed well outside in deep stretch and was just up for the place spot. JOHN JAY stalked in the early stages, chased PROPRIETARY TRADE on the turn, rallied turning for home, loomed outside of that rival at the furlong marker, dug in gamely and dueled between rivals to the finish. AMITY ROAD raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and closed mildly on the rail in the stretch. THREETHIRTYTHREE raced two wide off the pace, chased two wide on the turn and finished evenly. WHIZWIT raced off the pace, chased three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and tired.
