Chart notes
CITY SCENE prompted the pace two wide down the backstretch, made the lead entering the turn, set the balance of the pace and widened through the stretch under strong handling to win as much the best. IN TROUBLED WATERS stalked the pace three wide, offered a mild bid midway on the turn then was no match for the winner while clearly second best. H. T. XENA shifted outside soon after the start, raced five wide down the backstretch, moved closer three wide through the turn then leveled off. SERGER went evenly. ROSY APPLE se a pressured pace along the inside to the three eighths pole, had speed into the stretch then gave way.
