Chart notes
BEN DIESEL shifted in nearing the five eights pole putting GLOBAL PRIDE in tight between rivals, drifted in bumping QUICK QUICK WHIT to his inside near the nine sixteenths pole, prompted the pace into the turn, made the lead, drifted to the six path at the top of the stretch, edged clear under right handed urging while drifting into the two path nearing the sixteenth pole and just lasted under strong handling. GLOBAL PRIDE was in tight between rivals at the five eights pole, altered course three wide, vied for the lead, angled inside the winner at the top of the stretch, shifted outside that one at the sixteenth pole, dug in gamely and just missed. LAST COOKIE close up along the inside, swung out to the middle of the racetrack entering the stretch then closed fast in the final stages to also be narrowly beaten while three wide. QUICK QUICK WHIT had good early speed inside, was bumped by the winner near the nine sixteenths pole, gained a narrow lead, set the pace into the turn, remained a sharp threat until deep stretch and faded. BOURBON ON FIRE stalked the pace four wide and failed to respond. CREATIVE BEAT trailed. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
