Chart notes
DUBLSHOTOFCOURAGE rated close about the three path the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn, dug in for the lead late yards and held on. PRACTICAL SENSE saved ground on the opening turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and finished well to take second late yards while gaining on the winner. RUBYS FLASH rated a clear lead inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and was steadily encouraged leaving the turn, but was caught flattening stride late yards. SCHMEAR raced in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the six path and showed little more. AKINGISALWAYSKING stalked from the four path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. SMOKIN SMITTY showed little response through the backstretch. STAVANGER saved ground. Per Stewards ruling #53, DUBLSHOTOFCOURAGE is disqualified from earnings.
