Chart notes
PAYMENGOLD took the lead into the first turn and rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and held on with steady encouragement. SUMMONING DENIS saved ground off the early pace, started a three wide bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn and finished evenly at the outside girth of the winner. JUDGEMENT DAY raced boxed at the rail while attempting to slip through at the rail at various points for about a half mile, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but flattened leaving the far turn. C R'S MANDATE settled off the rail early on, picked up the chase leaving the five eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and showed little more. PENGUIN PARADE stalked off the rail, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole but flattened in the three path on the far turn. DON'TCALLTOOEARLY saved ground.
