Chart notes
COPPERHEAD CREEK was settled early, moved out on the backstretch to have an outside pursuit, made a frour to three wide move on the far turn and took over by the quarter pole, then drew clear leaving the turn to prove best under a drive. PRATT was rated along the inside, moved out nearing the five sixteenth and made a five wide move off the turn and finished willingly but could not get to the winner, second best. HERE'S WALDO tracked the early pace two wide, then was rated along and made a mild move two wide off the turn but had no late kick. SPEAK OF THE DEVIL prompted the early pace four wide on the first turn, then stalked the pace three wide and weakened. OVER AND THUNDER was climbing passing the wire the first time, then was asked and sent to the lead, then was headed on the far turn and gave way at the quarter pole.
