CROWN MAGIC was bumped at the start by a neighboring rival and was away slowly, was unhurried in the early stages, trailed into the turn and and saved ground nearing the quarter marker, shifted three wide for the drive and advanced nearing the furlong pole, shifted widest nearing the sixteenth-marker, closed fast into deep stretch and was up in the final strides to prevail. UPLIFT settled off of the decent early pace, raced outside of rivals into the turn and advanced three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, loomed while widest into upper stretch and battled for the lead nearing the furlong marker, took a narrow advantage into the final sixteenth, was caught in the final strides by the oncoming winner and held safely at the finish for second. BERTACCHI was forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the decent early pace from the outside heading to the half-mile marker, chased three wide into the turn, vied for the lead into upper stretch and took a narrow lead approaching the furlong marker, met the bid of UPLIFT into the final sixteenth, grudgingly gave way in deep stretch and was outkicked by the leading pair, while clear of the rest for third. CONEJO MALO was prominent away from the start, rated just off of the decent early pace and tracked from the inside heading to the turn, saved ground along the bend then waited for racing room nearing the quarter marker, angled three wide in upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly. RIOLO hustled away from the start, pulled between rivals heading to the half-mile marker and contested the decent pace approaching the turn, lost position into the bend and chased the leading pair two wide nearing the quarter pole, slipped to the rail in upper stretch and ran in pursuit to the furlong marker, could not keep pace past mid-stretch and gave way. WHAT A RELIEF broke alertly and assumed command away from the gate, set a pressured pace heading to the half-mile marker, dictated terms into the turn while off of the rail, was overtaken into upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and tired. GALLOPING MAJOR broke out at the start and bothered CROWN MAGIC away from the gate, was allowed to settle in the early running, raced outside of rivals into the turn and was guided two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response in the stretch drive and did not factor.
