Chart notes
SOUTHERN PALACE unhurried early on to race in and three deep, swung seven wide into the upper stretch to race from the outside of rivals and just edged up late under strong handling. VICTORY GIRL prompt the early leader three deep from the outside, led deep stretch and missed in a game effort. TINTA ROJA raced from the inside early down the backstretch, eased out four wide through the far turn and kept on willingly to the wire. TAPE RUNNER void of early speed, raced four wide near the quarter pole and had no final winning bid. DENVER'S ALLEY showed good early foot from the inside to set the early pace and faltered the final eighth of a mile. ETHEL stalked the early pace and was done early.
