Chart notes
DOIN'ITTHERIGHTWAY was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, moved up to take the lead nearing the quarter pole, quickly opened a clear lead and maintained a safe advantage. FOLE'S NOTION was allowed to settle early, angled out five-wide nearing the stretch while splitting rivals and finished fast. COLLECTION DAY was prominently placed while racing two-wide early, came four-wide into the stretch and finished well for third in a steady effort. EARL OF DASSEL was reserved off the pace while three-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. UNCLE IRISH vied with JAY for the early lead from along the outside and weakened after six furlongs. JAY vied for the lad from along the inside for six furlongs and tired. LONG LANCE was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. MACHEN'S RIDGE was close-up for a half mile racing along the inside and gave way.
