Chart notes
EYE DEE KAY stalked the front runner from the four path, tracked that leader into the turn, was asked near the quarter pole, set aim on the pace setter and ran him down in the stretch getting the lead late ad taking the win. SECOND OF JULY showed speed and was two ahead right out of the gates, showed the way while setting the fraction through the turn, was challenged into the stretch by a determined rival and was un able to repel that challenger and was caught late finishing second. HANKS was off mid pack, raced on the rail and found himself in tight quarters through the first turn, was asked to relax, did so beautifully, maintained positioning but had no late kick. JOLLY TOMMY raced four wide in the middle of the field, was in tight in the first turn and had to take back a bit, never got involved after that but did gain mildly late. SEVEN SCENTS trailed through out and passed one tired rival. MR. B CAUSE raced mid pack and wide then gave way late.
