IN A JAM tracked the early leader three deep from the outside, challenged into the far turn, had command into the upper stretch and held gamely to prove best under strong handling. DANCING GROOM settled off the early pace, hard ridden into the far turn, saved ground nearing the quarter pole, angled out and finished gamely to the wire. OISHI stalked the pace near the inside, eased out through the far turn, raced four wide into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. ECHO LANE settled off the early going racing in hand, raced six wide into the upper stretch and was even with no closing run. PREVENT set the early pace, was confronted to race on even terms into the far turn, hard ridden near the pace and faltered the final eighth of a mile. EL CHATO unhurried early on, raced three to five wide and had no late response.
