Chart notes
IMAGE OF CURLIN tracked the leaders from a clear pocket through the turn, tipped out to the four path at the top of the lane and finished well to overtake the pacesetter inside the eighth pole and was going away in deep stretch. ANNA AFTER MIDNITE sped off to quickly open a clear advantage, maintained that lead to mid-stretch and tired late in the lane. BABAS GAL reserved off the pace and passed weaker rivals to be along for the show. GOOD MAGIC WOMAN bumped leaving the gate, settled near the rear of the field and went evenly without impact. ARRINGTON was not a factor. LOST SUNSET chased the pacesetter down the backstretch, made a brief bid nearing the three-eights pole and gave way turning for home.
