LEA ME BE stalked the pace while three wide down the backstretch, then moved up to edge past the dueling rivals leaving the turn, gained command in the upper stretch then dueled with an outer foe in the final yards and was up at the tire to prevail. SHADOW MATTER saved ground in the early furlongs while racing in the back duo while two wide, then swung five wide leaving the bend and was closing well down the lane to duel with an inner foe in the final yards and hung at the wire. RED SUMMERBIRD reserved ground along the rail in the back duo, then came out four wide leaving the turn to rally mildly in the lane and was up for the show prize. NORTHVALE ROAD pressed the pace from the inside down the backstretch, then inched up to duel with the pace setter on the turn, was surpassed by an outer foe and gave way in the stretch. CHIEF BRADY was away alertly to lead the way while two wide, was challenged by an outer rival on the turn then flattened out in the stretch.
