Chart notes
FREEDOM ROAD rated just outside the pacesetter, took over when ready after half a mile and drew away under moderate urging. CAUSES TROUBLE moved clear in the opening quarter, was collared by the winner on the turn, was no match but held gamely for the place. CENTURION pursued top pair throughout and flattened out holding the show. B B BAD lacked speed, saved ground throughout and rallied mildly. MR. ROUNDTREE bobbled early, raced far behind and was no factor. GEEBERT trailed far behind then caught a stopping rival. DADASHEV raced between rivals off the pace and weakened.
